Fiery's new digital front ends for Ricoh ProTM C9500

  Fiery, LLC and Ricoh Europe have expanded their long-term partnership with the launch of two new Fiery digital front ends (DFEs) for the new Ricoh Pro C9500 digital color sheetfed press. The Fiery servers are the exclusive DFEs driving the Ricoh Pro C9500, providing customers with digital print performance to elevate productivity, improve quality, and automate workflows for greater labor savings, the company said in a release. The Ricoh Pro C9500 customers have a choice of Fiery Color Controller N-70, based on the high-performance Fiery NX Premium platform, or Fiery Color Controller N-50, based on the Fiery NX Pro platform. Annual general meeting of Delhi Printers' Association

  The annual general meeting of the Delhi Printers' Association was held at Harkishan Singh Surjeet Bhawan on 15 April 2023. After welcoming the members to the AGM, the immediate former president Sunil Jain welcomed president Atul Goel, general secretary Prakash Dass and treasurer Puneet Talwar. In his welcome address Goel expressed his gratitude to the members for reposing their faith in him by electing him as president for the year 2022-2023.  Greeting the members, Dass read out the annual report for the outgoing year and condoled the death of members in the past year. Talwar presented the statement of annual accounts for the year 2021-2022, which was duly approved. Returning officer Mukesh Kaushik read out names of the unanimously elected new team for 2023-2024 and invited them to assemble at the dais for a group photograph. For Robus, Pamex 2023 is an exclusive business opportunity

  Greater Noida-based post-printing machinery manufacturer Robus India cracked 17 deals just before Pamex and during the exhibition in Mumbai. The company booked 12 machines for clients in Pune, two in Delhi-NCR's Bahadurgarh, and one each in Mumbai, Daman, and Punjab. Robus claims that for the first time in the printing and packaging industry in India, it has introduced a five-year comprehensive warranty program on each product to provide hassle-free operations for its clients without worrying about maintenance costs. The company says it believes it can grow only if its customers grow along with it.   The ninth edition of the Jaipur Book Mark , which was held alongside the Jaipur Literature Festival from 20 – 22 January 2023, was marked by insightful discussions around the world of translations, the importance of children's publishing, policy-making around publishing, and the future of audiobooks. According to advisor Manisha Chaudhry, the Jaipur Book Mark (JBM) this year was quite interesting, and turned out  well. “It found an identity this year with  focused panel discussions on issues that actually concerned the publishing industry, which I think was the reason for its success. A significant number of panels turned out very interesting. There was actually some learning for the audience,” said Chaudhry.   One of the leading book printers and exporters, Replika Press has added another digital press to its battery of digital presses that it has built up in the past 15 years in addition to its massive offset printing and binding capacity that extends across its three plants in Kundli in the New Delhi NCR.
