  January 2023, US based Color-Logic a leader in metallic colors systems and print embellishment, has announced the release of Pattern-FX Volume 7. Commenting on the event, Color-Logic director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said, “Patterns have become a key element of graphic design in recent years. Color-Logic Pattern-FX volumes are illustrator palettes which incorporate the Color-Logic special effects and make pattern usage effortless, predictable, and reproducible. The patterns can be rotated and scaled, and since Color-Logic colors can ge gradated, two or more colors can be used within one pattern. When using the seven Pattern-FX volumes together with the 924 metallic colors in the Color-Logic Design Suite, graphic designers have access to 776,160 predictable and reproducible embellishment patterns with just a few mouse clicks, although with scaling and rotation, the true number of print embellishments is essentially unlimited.   One of the leading book printers and exporters, Replika Press has added another digital press to its battery of digital presses that it has built up in the past 15 years in addition to its massive offset printing and binding capacity that extends across its three plants in Kundli in the New Delhi NCR. The newest Canon digital machines to be added at Replika are the ImagePress C10010 VP color press and the high-capacity monochrome VarioPrint 6270 press. Our readers will recall that one of our first in-plant visits during one of the breaks in the pandemic lockdowns was to Replika in Kundli to see its just commissioned sheetfed inkjet Canon Varioprint i300 full color inkjet press in the second half of 2020.
