Komori secures 19 new orders at Printpack

  Komori India says it secured 19 new orders for its advanced multi-color sheetfed offset printing presses from a diverse group of companies spanning the book publishing, commercial printing, and packaging sectors at Printpack India 2025.  The 19 Komori presses include 13 units of the Lithrone GL437, Enthrone 429 (2 units) and 529 (1 unit); Lithrone GL-640A +C IR UV (2 units) and Lithrone GL 637+ C IR UV (1 unit). Jun Sudo, president of Komori India , said, “We appreciate the trust and confidence our clients have shown in Komori. Kodak updates Prinergy workflow

  Kodak has introduced Prinergy 11, the latest version of its prepress workflow software, which is designed to work across analog and digital production. The headline feature is for more efficient support for both digital and traditional print production. There is now direct connection to the Prosper presses, including the Ultra 520, 7000 Turbo and 6000 Presses. Prinergy’s APPE RIP and Preflight+ have been upgraded and the system now supports for Windows 2022 and Mac OS 14, though not the current OS 15. Kodak has replaced Java VM with Corretto VM for improved reliability and security. There’s also better control of access to data, which can now be granted through group rights in the active directory for jobs, as well as the process templates and rulesets. Prinergy 11.0 also features some enhancements to rules-based automation (RBA), which now gains a new plate remake action. New in the fleet is the newly installed Ricoh Pro C7500, which is playing a vital role in enhancing graphic prints. Benyamin – I can't say which is the most famous or most relatable to the audience. Each book addresses different readers and subjects. This order is part of Sri Andal Paper Mills’ quality improvement initiatives for its kraft paper production. The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the fourth quarter of 2024.   MT Vasudevan Nair, an eminent and multifaceted literary and artistic luminary, celebrated for his profound contributions as a novelist, short story writer, scriptwriter, and filmmaker, has left an indelible mark across various creative domains. His literary works are timeless masterpieces, many of which have achieved the status of all-time classics. His literary works offered a nuanced portrayal of the history and culture of Kerala. The 91-year-old breathed his last on 25 December 2024. MT Vasudevan Nair had several literary awards to his credit, including Padma Bhushan, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Vayalar Award, Odakkuzhal Award, Muttathu Varkey Award, Jnanpith Award, Padmarajan Award, Lalithambika Antharjanam Smaraka Sahitya Award, Vallathol Award, among many others. Mimaki India’s flatbed and UV solutions at Printpack India 2025

  At Printpack India 2025, Mimaki India , a provider of digital printing of signage and textiles showcased a mid-format range eco-solvent printer, a roll-to-roll flatbed printer, and UV offerings and other solutions. According to Dinesh Narayan, sales head North, the Mimaki UCJV 330, a UV roll-to-roll printing machine, was the highlight of its stand. In 2024, the company installed several units of its JV330 series and the TxF150-75 direct-to-film printer (DTF) across India. DB Corp reports highest-ever nine-month performance in FY25

  DB Corp (DBCL), home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar , Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar , has announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY2025) and the first nine months of the financial year 2025 (9M FY25). The company says it delivered an advertisement revenue CAGR growth of 20% in the last three-year period from Rs 10,084 million (Rs 1008.4 crore) in FY21 to Rs 17,524 million (Rs 1752.4 crore) in FY24. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) delivered 44% CAGR growth in last three years from Rs 1,414 million (Rs 141.4 crore) in FY21 to Rs 4,255 million (Rs 424.5 crore) in FY2024. The media group announced its highest-ever nine-month performance in FY25 with revenue of Rs 18,544 million (Rs 1854.4 crore) and PAT of Rs 3187 million (Rs318.7 crore).
