AIFMP elects new team of office bearers

 

A new team of office bearers of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) for the year 2022-23 were elected at the 69th annual general body meeting held on 24 September 2022 in Kochi. 

Raveendra Joshi of United Multicolour Printers Pune has been elected as its president for the year 2022-23. He takes charge of the apex body of 2.5 lakh printers, which employs around 15 lakh people directly and 10 lakh indirectly, from 1 October 2022. 

Established in the year 1953, AIFMP draws its strength from 82 regional associations spread all over the country.

The other officebearers are - Raghabendra N Dutta Baruah of Seven Stars Publications as general secretary, Nitin Narula of Colourbar Communications as vice-president (north), K Rajendran of Vignesh Offset as treasurer, Anant Vishwanath Joshi of Sahitya Mudranalaya as vice-president (west), Rahul Mahajan of Narendera Publishing House as joint secretary, Bidyut Ranjan Nag of Nag Offset as vice-president (east), and K Kumarasamy of Kumaraswamy Printing Pressis vice-president (south).

Koenig & Bauer 2020 H1 revenues decline by 20.1%

In addition to the general investment restraint on the part of many customers in the corona crisis, travel bans, lockdowns, and other restrictions significantly affected the business figures of the Koenig & Bauer group in the first half of 2020. The restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic particularly impeded deliveries of the presses to the international customers as well as the worldwide deployment of the assembly staff and service technicians. At €480.2 million, orders were 16.2% lower than in the previous year, although this was better than the sector trend for printing presses published by industry association VDMA. At €404.5 million, revenue fell short of the previous year by 20.1%. Green advertising provider CashurDrive's initial public offering

  CashurDrive Marketing Limited , a green media publicity services provider in India, announced the filing of its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with NSE Emerge. The company’s initial public offering comprises a fresh issuance of 35,42,400 equity shares and an offer for sale of up to 11,37,600 equity shares, each with a face value of Rs 10, through the book-building route. The offer for sale is by selling shareholder Parveen K Khanna. According to DRHP, CashurDrive intends to utilize Rs. 27 crore of the total proceeds from the IPO to fund its working capital requirements and plans to use the remaining capital for general corporate purposes.
