Bindwel to show its latest innovation at drupa 2024
Bindwel, one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of book binding machines in India, is set to continue its industry presence at drupa 2024. The company showcased its recent innovation, the Bindline 5000 (5K), at a leading educational book printing facility in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the company, Bindline 5K is where technology meets efficiency. The Bindline can produce 5000 books per hour — a spectacle of minimal manual effort and maximum output. The precision of the Trimit 50 C trimmer complements this symphony of speed, achieving 50 cycles per minute with ease, the company explains.
It is a high-speed offline binder, producing up to 5000 books per hour. The machine consumes the lowest energy per book and occupies the smallest footprint in its category of binders.
The company plans to showcase its books-on-demand solutions. Additionally, Bindwel will address the importance of standardization in educational books, advocating for streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
“We are pushing for standardization, questioning the need for so many different sizes. Bringing in standardization will usher in efficiencies and bring down costs," Pallippuram Sajith, managing director of Bindwel-Stelda, said.
